Or close. Went with a bunch of friends to a concert. The 69 Eyes. That was a hell of an awesome night.

We arrived at the venue about 20 minutes before the doors opened. Surprisingly, there were only 2 other people there. By the time the doors opened, there were no more than 20 people. Shock. Apparently, not that many people wanted to see the first two bands. And that is how we got to get space at the front, right against the stage. Seriously, the vocalists and guitarists were practically standing on me, if I reached out, I could have grabbed their legs easily (but I didn't. I'm a good obsessed fan).

The area was relatively more packed when the 69 Eyes came on, but there was still enough space for everyone to headbang in comfort if they so pleased. The show itself was out of this world. I'm uploading a video on youtube as I type this (and will include a link as soon as it's done). Right now, I will upload some photos I managed to snag with my not very good but nonetheless much loved point and shoot camera. I would have loved to have a good digital SLR with me, but the huge price tag currently forbids me from getting my hands on that very lovely Canon Eos I want. What can I say? I love Canon.

I have to say that the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the night was actually seeing Jyrki69 IN PERSON at the bar while Tiamat was on stage. That was just... amazing.

It's hard to pick just a few good pictures from the 142 pics I got that night, but I will try. Wish me luck!
